support

Behind every successful ultramarathoner is a dedicated support system. Loan relies on a strong foundation of family, friends, and professionals to help her push the boundaries of human endurance.

Crew chief husband, Justin Salzwimmer is the backbone of her race day execution. He serves as her consistent crew chief, managing logistics, delivering critical nutrition, and providing the motivation needed to survive multi-day endurance events.

Son, Leon, is her greatest source of inspiration. Leon is a constant motivator who inspires Loan to dig deeper, go faster, and run farther.

Loan in thankful for her friends, family, local running club, ultrarunning community, and the team at Tampa Running and Performance Clinic who continue to provide support and encouragement.

Running has always been more than just a passion for me—it’s my sanctuary. It’s the one time I can truly feel relaxed and release the stress from everything else. I rely on those miles to kick-start my day, find balance amidst life's chaos, and take care of my overall health. Through running, I’ve not only improved my physical fitness, but I've also lifted my mood and built a mental resilience that carries me through every other part of my life.
