On October 4, 2019 and the days following, Marc ran a total of 312 miles in 82 hours 13 minutes raising $4,431 for the Donna Foundation.
Marc was supported by friends, family and runners who joined him for miles or volunteered their time.

The run took place in Jacksonville.
It was dubbed "The Trench Run" as a reference the Death Star in Star Wars.
Marc, an avid fan, calculated the distance to run around the Death Star would be approximately 312 miles.
The Galloway Method
Jeff Galloway made popular the run/walk/run method for completing races as a way to reduce fatigue, injury and promote recovery. Galloway ran an impressive 2:16 marathon using this method proving that taking walk breaks during a run does not equal slower times.
Marc continues Galloway's training methods and teaching implementing the run/walk/run strategy in his own training and races. In 2017 he joined the Galloway race/pacer team pacing many of the RunDisney races helping other runners achieve their goals and proving that walk breaks don't make you slow, they make you strong.
