As Florida's summer heat starts to settle in, we wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who has supported Florida Ultrarunning and found the site helpful.

To the athletes, volunteers, race directors, crews and families that support this crazy sport, we appreciate you being part of this community.

We hope everyone's training is going well as temperatures and humidity begin their annual climb. Remember to stay hydrated, adjust expectations when necessary, and take care of yourself during the challenging summer months.

If you haven't already, check out the Coaches page. Florida has some great ultra coaches that will help you reach your goals. If you are a Florida ultrarunning coach and want to be featured, fill out the contact form and we will add you to the page.

We're currently working on our complete May recap post, which will be published soon and will highlight races, performances, and news from around the state. Congrats to everyone who raced in May! From the roads of the Keys to the trails of natural Florida - ya'll showed up with some amazing performances!

We're also always looking for community contributions. If you have a race recap, FKT adventure, solo long-distance effort, training story, or behind-the-scenes perspective from an athlete, crew member, volunteer, or race director, we'd love to hear from you. Sharing these stories helps showcase the incredible people who make Florida ultrarunning special.

Thank you again for your continued support, and we'll see you on the trails and road.
