THE WHY
Ultrarunning's Favorite Question
I built this site to create a central resource for the Florida Ultrarunning community. I wanted to make it easy for us to find the next race, learn who works behind the scenes, and highlight the great people that make up Florida Ultrarunning
This project is designed to be a clear roadmap for our local scene - from races to FKTs to running adventures. It's a way to highlight the veterans of our sport and welcome new members to our Florida Ultra Family.
Like all ultras, no one can truly do it alone. Throughout the site, you will see language such as "we" and "us" because even though I am maintaining it, this is very much a collaborative project. I need your help to keep this moving forward. Through sharing your races, adventures and services, we can truly enhance all aspects of the community.
Who am I? A local ultrarunner and fan of the sport. I hope you find this site helpful in some way. I hope you feel welcomed by your fellow athletes and embraced by those that put their time and hard work into this sport.
